Piedmont Driving Club
Architect Name: Choate+Hertlein Architects
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Project Overview: This two-phased project enhanced the guest experience and expanded the club’s amenities, guest offerings as well as improved back-of-house functionality.
During phase one an impressive 2-story pool pavilion was built. This space included a premiere dining room, 2 new bars, open-air seating on both floors, and fireplaces on both floors all with high-end finishes. The club’s existing bar-sized kitchen was expanded and renovated into a full-service restaurant kitchen to serve the new pavilion building providing more space and service capabilities.
The second phase centered around an extensive interior renovation of the club’s fitness areas, multi-purpose rooms, offices, employee locker rooms, employees break rooms, the day care facilities, laundry facility, restrooms, and all back of house areas.
