Project Overview: The Wesleyan School Academic Building project delivered a modern, two‑story, 46,554‑square‑foot learning facility designed to support the school’s innovative and evolving academic programs. Completed in just 47 weeks, the new building brings together a range of specialized spaces—including robotics and science laboratories, flexible classrooms, collaborative meeting areas, and administrative office suites—creating an environment that fosters hands‑on learning and interdisciplinary discovery.
Beyond the vertical construction, the project encompassed significant site improvements throughout the active campus. The team installed new underground stormwater infrastructure, upgraded vehicular and pedestrian paving, reconfigured existing parking areas, and enhanced the surrounding landscape and hardscapes to seamlessly integrate the new facility into the campus.
Executing this work while the school remained fully operational required careful planning and constant coordination. The team implemented rerouted carpool traffic patterns, maintained stringent safety protocols, and collaborated daily with school administrators to ensure minimal disruption. Despite the challenges of building in the heart of an active educational environment, the project stayed on schedule and was delivered safely and efficiently.
